Dear Brethren, I know many people commonly believe that Children would rapture without doing anything, because they are young and innocent. However, lately, I have had cause to question that. Children these days are being exposed to so much filth through television and media and that innocence is no longer there these days. Jesus talks about Children in Matthew 18, see some excerpts below:
Matthew 18: 2-6 says
2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. 3 Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
5 “And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf[a] is welcoming me. 6 But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Matthew 18: 14
14 In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.
There are people who are saying that Children should be allowed to see sexual images, or to know about Cannabis etc. However, I stand strongly against such ideas. That could constitute causing the children to fall into sin (which Jesus condemns in Matthew 18:6 quoted above). I believe that Children need to be baptized, they need to be taught about the Lord, how to walk with God and how to have a relationship with him. We should not assume that they are suddenly saved based on their age, no, we are saved based on a relationship with God. A baptism at birth is not enough, make sure to teach the Child about God all through their life, so that their salvation is secured.
Brethren, let’s keep praying for each other, and for other believers, that we may remain in God’s book of life. Peace and Love remain with you in the name of Jesus, Amen.
