Dear Brethren, I hope this message meets you well. Today, I would like to talk about false Christs. There have been a lot of people who have claimed to be the second coming of Jesus. What is surprising about these people is that many of them claim that God showed them that they are the second coming of Jesus, and guess what, these people even have followers (thousands / millions of them). See the video below for a list of people who have claimed to be Christ. However, bear in mind that there are even more people who claim to be Christ that are not covered in this video. (See the video below).
Matthew 24:3–5 (New Living Translation) says
3 Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world?[a]”
4 Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, 5 for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.
We need to be careful with people who claim to be the second coming of Jesus. We need to be watchful and take heed. To know about the second coming of Jesus, it is best to read our bible, and test the spirits. Another thing to watch out for is that some of these false Christ returnees prophesy (and sometimes those prophesies are accurate). However, take heed, because the Bible warns us about these people, and that they would perform signs and wonders, deceiving many and pretending to be Christ.
The Bible says in Matthew 24:23-24
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, ‘Lo, here is Christ,’ or ‘there,’ believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Therefore Brethren, let us not believe in signs and wonders, but in the word of God as laid down by the Bible. Father in the name of Jesus, I pray that every plan to deceive the body of Christ should crumble in the name of Jesus. Father, I pray against the spirit of deception and any sort of fellowship with the anti-Christ. Father, I pray that we remain undistracted and gain new strength for discernment in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. I pray that we will be and remain in God’s book of life, in Jesus name, Amen.
