Dear Brethren, I hope this message meets you well. I do want to speak to the topic of spiritual gifts. Are you wasting your spiritual gifts? Everytime spiritual gifts are mentioned, the first thing that Christians think of is gifts such as the gift of prophesy, the gift of healing etc. Lots of Christians have a desire to heal the sick the way that Jesus did. However, there are other gifts that Christians do not pay attention to. Do you know that the desire to help others is a spiritual gift? Well, if you didn’t, now you know. Take a look at what the Bible says in 1 Peter 4:10-11
1 Peter 4:10-11 New Living Translation says:
10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. 11 Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.
Therefore Brethren, do not bury your talents. Do not say that it is too small. No gift is too small. Remember the parable of talents, where we were warned against burying our talents. Well, not acknowledging your gifts, calling them small, and not utilizing them, is similar to burying your talents. Please do not do that. If you have natural inclinations to do good, or you have natural talents, then please do use it to glorify God.
I pray that your spiritual gifts will shine and make you a strong warrior for God, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen. May we be and remain in God’s book of life, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
