Dream Journaling Is A Good Tool

Hello Brethren,

I hope this message meets you well.

As is my usual way of doing, I am back with another post. Today, I want to talk about dream journaling. God does speak through dreams.

The Bible says in Numbers 12:5-6

5 Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, 6 he said, “Listen to my words:

“When there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions,
I speak to them in dreams.

God even speaks to unbelievers in their dreams too. God spoke to Abimelek in a dream rebuking him from sleeping with Sarah because she was Abraham’s wife.

The Bible says in Genesis 20:2-3

and there Abraham said of his wife Sarah, “She is my sister.” Then Abimelek king of Gerar sent for Sarah and took her.

But God came to Abimelek in a dream one night and said to him, “You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman.”

Now, does this mean that every dream is from God. No! Some dreams come from your imaginations, subconscious fears, etc. Some come from the devil. However, some come from God. Whenever you wake up from a dream, it is good practice to pray about what you saw. Dream journaling is also useful, we learn this from Daniel in the Bible.

Daniel 7:1 says

In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream, and visions passed through his mind as he was lying in bed. He wrote down the substance of his dream.

Dream journaling can help you to spot patterns, revelations, etc. So yes brethren, this is the post for today. I hope you learn something from this post. God bless you and please remain in God.
