True, true, but my understanding is that the fool as described here means one that is not wise, one without wisdom. However, that other “fool” that Jesus mentioned is as an insult.

Well, since you are insulting everyone who dares not agree with you, and falsely claiming that they have no wisdom, you seem to be in a bit of trouble.

Please do bear in mind that the Bible was originally in Hebrew and in translating to English, sometimes there isn’t a perfect translation. We make do with what we have. The Lord has only good intentions.

Which goes against the claims of Christians, that their bible is perfect, inerrant, and that this god wants everyone to understand it and come to it.
Do explain why your god can’t get a correct interpretation, being omnipotent and all.
Hmm, and we all know what is paved with “good intentions”.

I am not going to engage in an endless back and forth with you. Your mind is clearly closed to the Christian God and Jesus. That is your choice. We know the glory of the God that we believe in, and with time, I hope you will come to know it too.
